Presented by TowneBank, the Outer Banks Marathon and Southern Fried Half Marathon will start at Fort Raleigh National Historic Site and sends runners through the village of Mashoes along the scenic soundside of Roanoke Island before finishing back at Fort Raleigh. Once participants cross the finish line, they will enjoy a post-race celebration at the entrance to The Lost Colony.

The Outer Banks 8K presented by Surf Pediatrics starts right at the Wright Brothers National Memorial in Kill Devil Hills. It goes around the historical memorial over to one of the nearby neighborhoods of Kill Devil Hills and finishes back at the Wright Brothers National Memorial. Once you cross the finish line you will have an after-race party and wonderful food along with awards.
